Holy cow did he have fun helping and especially eating the donuts. I ended up really liking it. I will not make a habit of eating the donuts as each 10-12 donut batch uses 9 tablespoons of butter. :)

- Measures 10-4/5 by 8 by 3-4/5 inches
- Lid latch holds the donut maker closed while making donuts and is designed to stand upright to minimize storage space
- Non-stick plates make clean up easy
- Uniquely designed donut shapes create 5 delicious donuts in minutes
- Warm up & ready lights indicate that the doughnut maker is on and heating
The cooking time is 5-7 minutes per batch, but once the first batch was done & cooled, my son had fun decorating those while the next batch cooked. Everyone enjoyed the taste of the "donuts". Keep in mind these do not turn out like bakery style donuts that are fried.
These are more of a cake like donut, with a lightly crispy outside. A fun easy way to cook something different with my son. My favorite recipe so far: one box butter recipe yellow cake mix with a teaspoon each of cinnamon, nutmeg, and mace (I leave out the oil so they are healthier - still delicious).
Sunbeam FPSBDML920 Donut Maker Makes a really good traditional cake donut. So, so good...depending on what recipe or mix you use, the donuts have the potential to be a lot healthier than store-bought donuts as well since they aren't fried. The donuts are great the first day - fine the second day if you pop them in the microwave for a few seconds to warm them up.
